The counting of the sixth phase of the Bihar Gram Panchayat Chunav started today for 26,200 posts of Zila Parishad members, Panchayat Samiti Members, Ward Member, Sarpanch, Mukhiya and Panch in 848 panchayats in 57 blocks across 37 districts in Bihar. The voting of the sixth phase of the elections took place on November 3, 2021, and the full results will be out by today and tomorrow.

Meanwhile, there are 848 posts for Mukhiya, 11,592 for the post of the Gram Panchayat members, 134 for Zila Parishad, 1,186 for Panchayat Samiti members, 848 for Sarpanch, 11,592 for Gram Kachari Panchj. In these positions, the total number of male candidates are 43,840 and the total number of female candidates are 50,348.

1:41 PM: Pramod Kumar Yadav won the elections from Araria and he defeated Jai Kumar by 380 votes.

1:34 PM: In the Nuawan block of the Kaimur district, two out of three seats have been won by women candidates. While only one of the three BDC seats has been won by female candidates.

1:24 PM: From Kishanganj’s Dilaghbank panchayat, Ziaul Haq has won the elections.

1:20 PM: Rambalak won the elections from Siwan’s Kailgarh.

1:14 PM: Abdul Majid has won the Mukhiya seat yet again from Kishanganj’s Karuamani.
