Anurag Basu-helmed Metro In Dino, which was earlier scheduled to release in September, has now got the new release date. The film starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkona Sensharma, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Neena Gupta, will release in theaters on November 29.

After four years, Anurag Basu is set to return to directing chair with his upcoming film, Metro In Dino. The film was first announced in December 2022, and it has now been given a new release date following considerable delays. For those who don’t know, the original release date for Metro In Dino was September 13, 2024.

Anurag Basu, who has previously worked with Pritam on movies like Gangster, Life in a… Metro, Barfi!, Jagga Jasoos, and Ludo, has given him again the musical duties for Metro In Dino. The film is a standalone follow-up to Anurag Basu’s critically acclaimed Life in a Metro from 2007. Dharmendra, Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Shilpa Shetty, and Kangana Ranaut, played the lead roles in the film.

Meanwhile, Metro In Dino will mark the first collaboration of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan. Aditya was last seen in 2023 release Gumraah alongside Mrunal Thakur. While Sara had two releases last month including Murder Mubark alongside Karishma Kapoor and Karan Johar’s Ae Watan Mere Watan.

Mirzapur Season 3’s sensational first look was unveiled on Tuesday at the Prime Video Event. The special announcement was made in the presence of its stellar cast including Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Shweta Tripathi. It is one of the most awaited series of all time. Earlier this year, the talented actor Pankaj Tripathi starred in the title role of the biographical drama Main Atal Hoon, which tells the story of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The movie will now have its OTT premiere, allowing fans to see it from the comfort of their homes, nearly two months after its theatrical release. 

The much awaited digital release date of the film Main Atal Hoon, in which Pankaj Tripathi plays former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was revealed today by the official streaming site ZEE5 that the film will be premiered their.

Taking to the official social media handle of ZEE5, the streaming platform announced that the film will have its world premiere on March 14, 2024. The Instagram photo with the tagline, “Shuru karo taiyaari, aa rahe hain Atal Bihari!” included the cast and crew of the movie. Main Atal Hoon will debut exclusively on ZEE5, the post added.

The life and political career of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a person known for his accomplishments as a statesman, poet, and prime minister, are chronicled in Main Atal Hoon. Alongside a strong ensemble cast that includes Piyush Mishra, Daya Shankar Pandey, Raja Sevak, Ekta Kaul, and more, the film stars Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role.

Under the banners of Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios, Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, and Kamlesh Bhanushali has produced the film, which is directed by Ravi Jadhav and written by Jadhav and Rishi Virmani. Netflix India shared the trailer of Murder Mubarak on social media on Tuesday. The film stars Suhail Nayyar, Tisca Chopra, Sanjay Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Vijay Varma and Sara Ali Khan. Pankaj Tripathi plays the role of a non-traditional policeman.

In the beginning of the trailer Murder Mubarak introduces the setting of the crime at the Royal Delhi Club, where a number of high society guests have been invited. The voice-over informs that this space was made by the British and also served the British.

He said now that the British have left and they have left behind some members who are more English than them. When a murder occurs in the club, the police is informed. ACP Bhavani Singh enters the story, played by Pankaj Tripathi. As the case begins to take shape under his supervision, he questions each of the members present on that fateful night.

Murder Mubarak tells the story of ACP Bhavani Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) as he uncovers answers to murder with 7 suspects – Suhail Nayyar, Tisca Chopra, Sanjay Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Vijay Varma and Sara Ali Khan. The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix on March 15.

Murder Mubarak has been directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock films. The film has been adapted from Anuja Chauhan’s Club you to death. Netflix India and Vijay Verma shared the teaser of their upcoming film Murder Mubarak on Instagram on Monday. The film stars Sara Ali Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra and Vijay Varma and is scheduled to be released on Netflix on March 15. Murder Mubarak has been directed by Homi Adajania. The story of the film is based on Anuja Chauhan’s book Club You to Death.

The teaser shows Pankaj Tripathi’s character Bhavani Singh who is investigating a murder. He has seven suspects on his list : Sara Ali Khan who is a princess from South Delhi, Vijay Verma who could be a deadly lover from Chandni Chowk, Karishma Kapoor who is the dream girl of suspense films, Dimple Kapadia who is an accentric, drunk artist, Tisca Chopra who is the gossip monger and Suhail Nayyer who plays the party animal.

Murder Mubarak is a horror, comedy and thriller directed by Homi Adajania and has been produced by Dinesh Vijan. The filming for Murder Mubarak completed in April 2023. Karishma Kapoor was last seen in the 2012 supernatural thriller Dangerous Ishhq. She was seen in the film along Divya Dutta, Rajneesh Duggal and Jimmy Shergill.

Speaking to the media about her comeback to films Karishma Kapoor said the word comeback should be packed and parceled away. She said people should behave normally with the person as he is coming back to work. She said people tend to make this reference to the word comeback a little too easily and too often.

Ravi Jadhav directorial film, Main Atal Hoon, which released on Friday, January 19, actor Pankaj Tripathi can be seen playing the role of late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On the second day of its release, the film reportedly made close to Rs 2 crore.

The film earned Rs 1.15 crore on its opening day, according to the report. According to early estimates, the film  earned Rs 1.96 crore nett on its second day in India. As of now, it earned in Rs 3.11 crore in India.

The biopic of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who received the Bharat Ratna, country’s highest civilian honour, has been written by Jadhav and Rishi Virmani. The film, Main Atal Hoon, has been backed by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Bhanushali Studios Limited, and Legend Studios.

Pankaj recently discussed his preparation for the role of the late PM Vajpayee in an interview. In his interview, he said, you wouldn’t feel the same way about modern-day leaders after preparing and reading about Atal ji’s characteristics. Politicians revered him and followed his legislative manners; they were not just his opponents but also his most ardent critics, the actor said.

It is difficult to find an opponent for Atal in Indian politics, he had further said. The OMG 2 actor said, he wanted to know if he could do this justice. However, he has been to two of Atal ji’s political gatherings. Pankaj Tripathi also revealed he walked over to listen to him while he was five hundred metres away in the crowd.

Pankaj Tripathi is all set to star in the biopic of Late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the upcoming film, Main Atal Hoon. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres on January 19, 2024. The film’s teaser, which offers an insight into the life of India’s three-time prime minister, was unveiled today.

Pankaj is presented as the PM in the teaser. Although he doesn’t exactly looks like Vajpayee in terms of appearance, people may be reminded of the one and only Indian prime minister who served three terms by the way he speaks and dresses.

In the teaser, Pankaj Tripathi can be seen saying the popular kamal statement which is, Dalo ke iss dal-dal k bech, ek kamal khilana hoga (we have to bring a change), is also included.

Many people expressed their excitement for the movie in response to the teaser. In the comment section, one of the fan commented, just justified the character. Another person said, nice movie. The spiritual sequel to OMG starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam, OMG 2, observed a terrific day in the box office on Tuesday, which happened to be India’s Independence Day. The film has shown tremendous progress since its first day and earned Rs 18.5 Crores on Tuesday, i.e. on Independence Day.

As of now, the film’s entire collection is 73.67 Crores and seeing its performance at theatres, it may enter the Rs. 100 crore club by the coming weekend.

OMG 2 had a slow opening at the box office as it brought in Rs 10.26 crores on Friday. However, it picked up its pace by gaining positive traction and posted a weekend collection of Rs. 32.85 crores, with Rs 15.3 crores on Saturday and Rs 17.55 crores on Sunday. Interestingly, the film’s initial Monday surpassed its opening day by collecting Rs 12.06 crores.

OMG’s sequel was released in theatres at the same time as the action-thriller Gadar’s sequel, Gadar 2. Both films managed to survive simultaneously even with their clash, leaving trade analysts surprised. In addition to these two box-office hits, Rajnikanth’s Jailer is also excelling at the box office. However, the real challenge starts now, as the Independence Day long weekend is over, will the three releases stand the test of time.

The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) and Producers Guild of India (PGI) stated that the weekend which saw the release of OMG 2, Gadar 2, and Jailer, set a new all-time theatrical gross box office record in its 100 years of history. This was a relief for the cinema industry which had been going through difficulties since 2020 when theatres were shut due to the coronavirus pandemic. They added that even after cinema halls were reopened, it was tough to bring back people.
