Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) has launched a new and fast service UPI Lite for its customers. The service will allow users to pay for small-value UPI transactions without the need for a PIN. Along with this, users will be able to pay in one click with Paytm lite service and make real-time payments.

With the help of Paytm’s new Lite service, users can make payments of up to Rs 200 at a time. At the same time, users will be able to add Rs 2000 twice i.e. maximum of Rs 4000 in Paytm Lite Wallet. Users will also be able to make payments without a PIN, which means users will not have to enter their PIN again and again for small payments.

While announcing the feature, Paytm said that the service enabled by the National Payments Corporation of India for multiple small-value UPI transactions. With the help of the new service, real-time payments can be made faster with one click. Paytm said that the company is working on a target of increasing the adoption of digital payments across the country and has been working hard to achieve the goal.

Paytm MD & CEO Surinder Chawla said that the company is focused on promoting Digital India and digital payment methods. He said by launching and updating the application from time to time is a big step that is taking them closer to their goal. We are excited to be the first bank to empower Indians with the power of UPI Lite, the Chawla added.

Meanwhile, according to official data of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), half of the daily UPI transactions in the country are less than Rs 200. Now, with this new feature, users will get a better experience with fast and secure real-time small-value payments.
