Actor Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas took to their respective Instagram handle to share the first picture of their baby girl on the occasion of Mother’s Day. The couple welcomed their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in January via surrogacy.

Taking to Instagram, Priyanka Chopra uploaded the first-ever picture with their daughter and shared an extensive post announcing that their little girl is back home after spending 100 days in the hospital. In the photo, the actor can be seen holding the little princess in her arms as Nick is sitting alongside looking adorably at the munchkin.

Priyanka in a post wrote, On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.

The actor also talked about how challenging the last few months were for the family and now everyone is overjoyed as she is back home. She wrote every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.

Quantico actor also thanked the doctors for taking care of their daughter at every step. She said we are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every doctor, nurse, and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you.

Priyanka also wished Mother’s Day to her fans and wrote Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers in my life and out there. You make it look so easy. Thank you.
