Diljit Dosanjh and Kangana Ranaut’s twitter war once again reignited over farmers’ protest, when the latter claimed that Diljit and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have disappeared after provoking the farmers. Diljit responded that she has no right to call farmers anti-nationals.

The Queen actress took a dig at both the actors with her fresh tweet on Wednesday. She had tweeted a video showing that farmers are clueless about why they are protesting and targeted the actors for supporting the ongoing farmers’ protest against three controversial farm laws. She suggested that Diljit and Priyanka, who have been seen as the role of local revolutionaries, should atleast make one video on farmers telling on what they should be protesting.  Both have disappeared after instigating farmers and now look at the condition of the farmers and the country, the actor tweeted.

Reacting to the comment, Diljit responded in Punjabi, saying who gave her right to decide, who is a patriot or anti-nationals of the country. She should have at least some shame before calling farmers anti-national of the country, the actor added.

In a series of tweets, Kangana also asked Diljit what his problem with the new farm law is. She said with the new laws, the farmers can now sell their produce anywhere in the country and directly to corporates and consumers, skipping middleman. Everyone feels these are revolutionary steps taken by the government to help the miserable condition of Indian farmers, then what they are provoking protests, asked Kangana adding that she wants to understand his POV.

To which Diljit gave a befitting reply, saying that he didn’t owe her any explanation. He asked her to stop pretending to be an authority on all issues, suggesting that she seemed to be obsessed with him. He directed her to a youtube link of a news report on the issue, and asked her to listen to it. The Udta Punjab actor later signed off saying don’t spread reports that he had disappeared as he was only going to sleep. We will talk in the morning, tweeted Diljit.
