TV anchor Rahul Shivshankar has now landed on the ferry of memes as he yelled at a wrong guest on his show while debating on the Ukraine crisis. The snippet from his show is now being circulated widely. In the video, Rahul Shivshankar can be seen yelling at a Ukrainian Journalist thinking that was addressing Daniel McAdams, a US foreign policy commentator.

In the video, it was also shown that the original Mr McAdams can be seen saying that why is he yelling at him, he didn’t even say a word. Then only Rahul realised his mistake and said that he got it confused.

Soon after this, the video went viral on the internet and the tweeple got the fooder that they were looking for.

Memes and morphed pictures started doing rounds and McAdama became the top trend in India. Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi wrote that she watched the I am Mr McAdams & I haven’t said a word clip for the nth time. It is epic and more importantly, hilarious newstainment! Oh god, Mr McAdams we in India can so relate to that emotion.

Omar Abdullah wrote that today everyone is Mr McAdams.

After this, McAdams gave a statement in which he said that it seems that the whole thing was a comedy of errors. Someone had mixed up his name with the Ukrainian guy and the host thought he was the one who went ballistic. He further said that he could not see the screen and could only see his cameras, so he had no idea that they mixed up the names. He could only hear the host yelling and screaming at the person he thought was him.
