Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman, Raj Kundra’s life hit a rough patch after he got arrested on July 19 in a pornography case. The 46-year-old spent almost 2 months in jail and was released on bail in September this year.

Followed by the controversy, Raj Kundra and his actor wife were ruthlessly trolled on social media wherein people demanded strict actions against the accused. Now, the businessman who used to be an avid social media user and shared random amusing videos online has permanently deleted all his social media accounts including Instagram and Twitter.

Raj Kundra’s pornography case

Raj Kundra was nabbed by Mumbai police in July for alleged connection to the creation and publication of porn films. After the arrest, Raj and Shilpa had filed a defamation case against actor Sherlyn Chopra for derogatory remarks about them in public, as per media reports. Retaliating to it, Sheryln had also filed a police complaint against the celebrity couple and accused them of mental harassment and deception.

In September, the Mumbai court granted bail to Raj on a surety of Rs 50,000. In the bail application, he had claimed that there was no single evidence against him that would connect the app in question, HotShots with an offence under the law.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty continues to set the mercury soaring with her stunning picture on Instagram. Recently, the Hungama 2 actor took the internet by storm after she shared her new undercut haircut. It created quite a buzz online wherein some loved her bold decision while some criticised her.
