After all, the delays in the release of SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited film RRR due to covid will come to end on March 25 as the movie will hit the big screen tomorrow.

Apart from Telugu star Ram Charan and Junior NTR in lead characters, the film also features Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt.

The expected budget for the movie is around Rs.550 crores and the fees given to the star cast for their roles are also too hefty.

As per a report published in telugu360.com, Ram Charan and Jr NTR were both paid Rs 45 crore for their roles in RRR. The Bollywood cameo Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, took home Rs 9 crore and Rs 25 crore respectively. RRR marks both Alia and Ajay’s entry into regional cinema.

SS Rajamauli, the director of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, has set a new benchmark for directors in the Indian film industry by investing Rs 550 on RRR. Not only the budget of the Bahubail were huge but also their collections had shattered box-office records. He had allegedly opted for a 30% profit share from the film.

The budget of Baahubali: The Conclusion was Rs 250 crores and Rajamouli had charged Rs 28 crores, Prabhas took home a fee of Rs 25 crores while Rana Dagubatti got Rs 15 crores.

Andhra Pradesh minister Perni Nani had earlier claimed that he had received a donation application from the makers of RRR.

SS Rajamauli’s RRR features Jr NTR as Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan as Alluri Seetharama Raju, while Alia Bhatt will play the character of SIta. The film will be released in theatres on March 25, after several delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

RRR, which is based on the fictional tale of the younger days of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, was originally scheduled for pan India release on July 30, 2020.
