The TV show Friends ended in 2004, but it continues to have a huge fan base all over the world. In a recent viral photo posted by X user Deepak Kumar, a fan was seen watching the popular Friends show on her mobile while she was sitting in a stadium packed with an IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants.

The post has gone viral on X with 106700 views, 2100 likes and 194 retweets till now which are only increasing. Large number of X users started commenting on the viral post with mixed reactions. It seems some things are just more important than sixes and fours in the epic cricket battles happening in the stadium.

One X user Yash was of the opinion that the girl had made up her mind to watch friends when she came to know that it is an RCB match.

One user Ajay said the post was not unbelievable. He said it is Chinnaswamy and it is therapeutic to watch Friends.

One user Prashanth was of the opinion that the girl was trying to find new friends after her existing friends forced her to watch an RCB game.

One user Althaf said the post looks scripted.

One user Videep Raj was of the opinion that people should respect privacy of others.

One X user Ajay Thanvi said the girl must have got free passes for the IPL match.

One X user Bhavya Bansal said she did not find the current season of IPL to be interesting at all. She did not blame the girl for shifting her attention to watching Friends instead of watching the IPL match.

One user pointed out that the girl was sitting in the corporate stand where tickets cost from Rs 25000 to Rs 30,000.

One X user was of the opinion that it is an IPL match not a Formula 1 or a FIFA game. Hence it was not a big deal for the girl to give the IPL match a miss.

Former RCB skipper Virat Kohli has showered praise on Rajat Patidar after the his sensational match-winning century against Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2022 Eliminator on Wednesday at Kolkata’s Eden Garden.

Following the game, Kohli interviewed Patidar and lavished praise on his match-winning knock. He has seen many impact innings and many innings under pressure over so many years but have not seen many better than how Rajat played today, he said.

Under pressure, big game, first uncapped player, Kohli said.

Lavishing praise on his teammate, Kohli said What Patidar did was very very special, he don’t think that anyone should take that for granted. Everyone should understand the excellence of the innings and appreciate as a cricketer to watch an innings like that, he said.

In a game where legend RCB batters like Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell failed to deliver, Patidar stood tall and slammed an unbeaten 112 off just 54 balls to help the RCB to beat Lucknow by 14 runs. The batter raced away to his fifty off 28 balls and scored his next fifty off just 21 balls to reach his century in 49 deliveries.

The RCB’s replacement player Rajat Patidar hit an unbeaten 112 to become the first uncapped player in the history of IPL to score a century in the play-offs.

With the help of his stunning knock, RCB recovered from 86 for 3 and posted a massive total of 207 for 4.

After this win, RCB is two win away from their first ever IPL title and the franchise will face Rajasthan Rooyals on Friday in the Qualifier 2 at Gujarat’s Narendra Modi Stadium. However, the winners will take on Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022 final after two days at the same venue.

The Rajasthan Royals have not made it to the final of the IPL since 2008 while RCB last played in the final in 2016. The Royals have won the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League in 2008.

Royals had lost to Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 1 and will have another chance to play IPL 2022 final after winning Qualifier 2.
