Ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is celebrating his 33rd birthday on December 6, the star cricketer is an integral part of the Indian squad and his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings. From bowling, batting to fielding, Jadeja is true 3-D player on the pitch.

Born in Gujarat’s Jamnagar, Jadeja has won numerous matches for the national team as well as his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings. Recently, Jadeja became the costliest player for CSK, retaining him for a huge sum of Rs 16 crore.

During a chat with ex-cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Ravindra Jadeja revealed how he got the name of Sir Jadeja.

In the show, Harbhajan Singh asked many candid questions to Sir Ravindra Jadeja. Amidst the show, Harbhajan Singh asked him the reason behind people put ‘Sir’ ahead of his name. In reply, Jadeja revealed that there is no reason why he is called ‘Sir Jadeja’ but most importantly it was given by none other than former Indian captain MS Dhoni. He said Dhoni called him by Sir Jadeja suddenly without any reason or, logic and later it became a trend. Whenever Jadeja performed well for his team people would call him by Sir Jadeja.
