An incident has come to light from Odisha’s Ganjam where a speeding car can be seen mowing over 4 school girls who were crossing the road. The speeding car can be seen ramming into 4 school girls who were crossing the road with their bicycles.

The reports also suggest that the victims were immediately rushed to the hospital after the accident.

In the spine-chilling accident, a car can be seen trying to speed past the truck after which the car lost control and ended up ramming into the school girls, who were walking on the side of the road. The video also shows, the school girls being knocked off the ground after impact and falling on the ground many feet away. The victims were also not facing the speeding car as they were aloof from what was coming.

The video also shows the speeding car, after ramming into the school girls, heading toward a shop and ramming straight into it. The video also shows one of the school girls barely missing the impact of the fatal incident as she gets up and starts walking to the side in the fatal incident.

The car accident transpired in Pagala Baba Chowk which falls under the Purushottam block of Odisha’s Ganjam.

Police action

According to reports, the Purushotam police station of Ganjam has taken cognizance of the video and is further investigating the matter which recorded the spine-chilling accident.

The reports also suggest that the locals immediately swung into action and called upon the authorities and medical aid for the girls, who were rushed to the hospital. The reports also suggest that the victims are in critical condition.

Another incident

Another incident recently came to light from Odisha where a schoolgirl was subjected to harassment and molestation by other students. According to reports, the boys ragged a girl in a college in Odisha and were forcibly kissed by another student after being egged on by a college senior. The incident was recorded in a CCTV camera that was installed in the nearby area.

The police have taken cognizance of the matter and have started investigating the case based on the footage captured on the CCTV.
