A Pakistani actor on Tuesday sought to file a complaint against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked for an website link to register the same with the Delhi Police.

The Delhi Police replied to Sehar Shinwari’s tweet with a sarcastic and witty response saying that they “still” do not have jurisdiction within Pakistan and also would like to know how she was tweeting when all social media networks have been shut in her country following clashes that erupted after the arrest of former premier Imran Khan on Tuesday.

In a tweet, Sehar Shinwari, a Pakistani actor, sought an online link for the Delhi Police to file a complaint against PM Modi and India’s spy agency, Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) for allegedly “spreading chaos and terrorism in her country.”

In a tweet, Shinwari wrote: “Anyone know the online link of the Delhi Police? I have to file a complaint against the Indian PM and the Indian Intelligence Agency RAW, who are spreading chaos and terrorism in my country, Pakistan. If the Indian courts are free (as they claim), then I am sure the Indian Supreme Court will provide me justice.”

Replying to Shinwari’s tweet, the Delhi Police issued a witty retort, asking the Pakistani actress how she was able to use Twitter when all social media had been barred and internet services snapped in parts of Pakistan after Imran Khan’s arrest.

The clever response from the Delhi Police has gone viral on Twitter and has been widely viewed and shared by netizens.

The tweet read: “We are afraid we still do not have jurisdiction in Pakistan. But, would like to know how you are tweeting when the internet has been shut down in your country.”

The tweet has garnered over 3.1 million views, more than 10,000 likes and thousands of comments since it was shared by the Delhi Police.
