Who hasn’t grooved on the iconic song Kaanta Laga? The song which came out in 2002 not only made the audience shake their legs on it but also served a wide recognition to its lead, Shefali Jariwala. Kaanta Laga gave her the title of The Thong Girl and helped her win hearts.

However, post the popularity of the song, Shefali Jariwal did not bag great projects in the entertainment industry. Cut to 2021, the actor has revealed the reason behind not working much after Kaanta Laga.

Shefali Jariwala reveals her serious health condition

Speaking to ETimes, she revealed that she had an epilepsy seizure at the age of 15. She went on and said that she had studies pressure which lead to stress and anxiety. Anyone could get a seizure due to depression and she got her seizures in backstage, classrooms, while on the streets, which lowered her self-esteem.

The 38-year-old further said that people questioned her about why she didn’t take up projects after Kaanta Laga. It was because of her epilepsy seizures that she couldn’t take up projects and the condition went on for 15 long years.

Concludingly she said informed that she got free from seizures for 9 years and is proud of herself. She also dealt with her panic attacks, depression, and anxiety with the help of a strong support system.

Shefali Jariwala’s career

After featuring in Kaanta Laga in 2002, Shefali Jariwala played a character of Bijli in the Bollywood film Mujhse Shaadi Kaorgi, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. She then appeared in the Star Plus dance reality show Nach Baliye with her boyfriend. In 2018, she appeared in ALT Balaji’s web series Baby Come Naa. Later, she participated in the Colors TV reality which is a show hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 13.

Actor Siddharth Shukla took his last breathe on Thursday at Mumbai’s Cooper hospital. Hours later of the actor’s demise, many friends/ colleagues reached the actor’s resident or hospital just to say a final goodbye to him.

Bigg Boss 13 participant and a very good friend of Shukla, Asim Riaz reached the hospital after hearing the news. Riaz was spotted outside Mumbai’s Cooper hospital where Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya actor took his last breath. 

Riaz also shared an emotional note for his Shukla on his Instagram where he said, he had a dream in the morning about the big boss journey… and he saw Sidharth watching his Bigg Boss clip he came and gave a hug to him, I still can’t believe this, see you on the other side, Sid, Riaz added in his post.

Actor Arti Singh, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shefali Jariwala who were co-participants with Siddharth Shukla in the Bigg Boss 13 house also reached the late actor’s resident. Shefali Jariwala who shared a great bond with Shukla shared a heart-wrenching note on his sudden demise. Check out here.

Siddharth Shukla was best known for his character in Balika Vadhu, later the actor got in the limelight after winning the reality show Bigg Boss season 13. He also won Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and participated in another reality show called Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6.
