Last night Kolkata Knight rider handed over a huge loss to Kane Williamson’s Sunrisers Hyderabad. The 61th match of IPL 2022 played between KKR and SRH at the MCA, Pune came as a nightmare for Hyderabad supporters.  

And with this loss against Kolkata, SRH have now lost five consecutive matches and tweeple think skipper Kane Williamson should now step forward and take some credits for the same. Here are some of the Twitter reacted after Kane Williamson’s dismissal:

Kane Williamson scored just 9 off 17 balls last night continuing his poor show in IPL 2022. However, the New Zealand captain has also not been able to execute his plans well in the tournament and has come out to be a poor captain as well.

The skipper forgot to appoint a pacer for the last over and to everyone’s shock he handed over the ball to off-spinner Washington Sundar when KKR’s Andre Russell was on strike. And as expected, Russell smashed 20 in that over and pushed the total to 177/6 in 20 overs.

And in return, SRH never got the momentum while chasing and got restricted to 123 for 8 wickets, against a collective bowling effort from Kolkata Knight Riders. And skipper Kane Williamson again came as a disappointment for Hyderabad fans.

Sunrisers Hyderabad started IPL 2022 with 3 back-to-back defeats but the team led by Kane Williamson made a comeback with a bang with five consecutive wins. But now again, the team’s hopes to make it to the play-offs is getting faded day by day.

Now Sunrisers Hyderabad will play against Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians on May17 at Wankhede Stadium. The match will start at 7:30 pm. Mumbai Indians is already out of the tournament and will play for prestige, while Hyderabad is somehow in the game and will look to score more points.
