Zomato has launched 10 minutes food delivery option at the doorstep. Zomato proclaimed that 10-minute food delivery will be available shortly. However, this service is deemed utterly pointless and highly unsafe for the company’s distribution partners on social media by the people.

Zomato’s founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal, announced this 10 minutes food delivery service on social media, Twitter. He said that it will be launched in the next month, in Gurugram.

Zomato’s statement began with a vow that it will not put pressure on delivery partners to bring food faster, noting the outrage that erupted last year when Zomato supported Blinkit which was previously known as Grofers, announced a similar 10-minute delivery scheme.

We don’t exert any stress on our delivery partners to bring food as soon as possible. We also don’t penalize delivery partners that are late. According to Mr. Goyal’s remark, the delivery partners have not been notified of the agreed delivery time.

Regardless of Zomato’s guarantee, the 10-minute rapid delivery maneuver was roundly mocked on social media. Many people criticized the Zomato Instant meal delivery service using memes on Twitter, where #Zomato has been trending since the announcement, from Friday evening.
