Who can ever forget the iconic 90s song Tip Tip Barsa Paani? The sizzling chemistry between Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar has been engraved in the hearts of fans. The yellow saree, romantic rain, and the duo made generations groove on the song.

Now, Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif has stepped in Raveena’s shoes in the recent Sooryavanshi song that was released on November 6. The 38-year-old recreated the 90s song with Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty’s film. Tip Tip is choreographed by Farah Khan.

In the song, Katrina Kaif can be seen donning a silver metallic saree and her scintillating moves will surely make you fall head over heels in love with her. While Katrina is dancing in the rain, Akshay can be seen admiring her. The song has a carnival set up and has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi.

The Tip Tip song is out and so are the reviews. Katrina’s new song has divided Twitter wherein some hailed the actor and some compared her with the ravishing Raveena.

One user wrote that no one can recreate the magic that Raveena Tandon had created. She had 103 degrees fever at that time and the performance was recognised as a cult classic.

Another user wrote that the remake is a victim of bad editing, bad camera work, and bad costume. Such a mammoth song deserved better mounting and the makers have shot it like a spoof.
