Amitabh Bachchan is a Bollywood maestro. He is also one of the richest actors in India with a net worth of US$400 million. He owns various expensive properties across the country. It has been reported that he has recently sold one of his properties.

Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly sold a plush villa, named Sopaan for Rs 23 crore. Sopaan is located in Gulmohar Park in South Delhi and is the villa where his parents used to live. Amitabh Bachchan is the son of famous Indian poet and writer Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan. The plush villa has been sold to his family friend, Avni Bader.

Avni Bader has known the Bachchan Family closely for more than 35 years. She is the CEO of the Nezone group of companies. She has purchased Sopaan, a plush villa in South Delhi that was previously owned by Amitabh Bachchan. Reports suggest that the registry for 418.05 square meter property was done on December 7, 2021.

Sopaan was previously registered under the name of Amitabh Bachchan’s mother, Teji Bachchan. Their family used to reside there permanently before their family shifted to Mumbai.

The corporate head said that since Sopaan is an old construction, its structure will have to be demolished and reconstructed as per her requirements. She also shared that her family has been living in South Delhi for many years and have been looking for additional property in the same area. That is why, as soon as the offer to buy Sopaan came across, she said yes immediately and acquired the asset.

Amitabh Bachchan currently resides in Jalsa, which is in Juhu. He lives with his wife, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. The actor was last seen in 102 Not Out with Rishi Kapoor. He will next be seen in films like Jhund, Brahmastra, Runaway 35, The Intern and GoodBye 2022.
