Due to the South-West Monsoon, the rain continues in many states. Whereas, many states are still facing scorching heat. In this sequence, according to the information given by the India Meteorological Department on Monday, June 6, 2022, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Meghalaya, Sikkim, Assam, Himalayan West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Arunachal Pradesh, Karaikal and South Interior of Karnataka from tomorrow, June 7, 2022.

While Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yemen are likely to receive light rain accompanied by dust storms and thunderstorms.

Reason for heavy rainfall

According to meteorologists, there may be thunderstorms in Bihar, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Assam-Meghalaya, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Telangana, coastal areas of Karnataka, Karaikal, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu. Actually, the northern limit of southwest monsoon is passing over Bangalore, Dharmapuri and Siliguri. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain in these places.

However, there is a forecast of heat wave in South Haryana-Delhi, South Punjab, South Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Odisha, North Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh,. It is worth noting that this time the monsoon has arrived three days before its expected time.
