Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli on Sunday took Instagram to wish his teammate Yuvraj Singh on his 40th birthday.  

On his birthday, Kohli shared a video in which he remembered a couple of their old moments with team India’s World Cup-Winning star. In the video, the Indian Test skipper also talked about his first meeting with the legendary all-rounder. He also shared an outrageous story from his former teammate’s playing days.

Recalling memories of his first Sri Lanka tour in 2008, Kohli said Yuvraj was one of the players who made him comfortable in the dressing room and they got along well due to common interests both of them shared.

Kohli had joined team India after playing U-19 World Cup and Yuvraj welcomed him very nicely and made him comfortable, started joking around with him. We liked similar kinds of food, Kohli said.

Happy Birthday Yuvi Pa and wishes lots of peace, happiness and prosperity, he concluded the video.

Kohli also opened up about an incident when Yuvraj made some Indian cricketers fall down laughing on the floor.

Yuvraj, who had announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in June 2019, will comeback next year in International cricket. He has played 304 ODIs, 58 T20Is and 40 Test matches for India.

Earlier, he had tweeted a 22-second long video regarding his comeback in International cricket and had surprised his fans.

The team India chief sectors have replaced Virat Kohli with Rohit Sharma as their full-time white-ball captain.
