Priyanka Chopra on Thursday shared the trailer of her upcoming children’s superhero Netflix film We Can Be Heroes on her Instagram account. Helmed by Robert Rodriguez, the film is a stand-alone sequel to The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D (2005). Chopra plays the role of an antagonist Ms Granada in the film where she is the chief of a superheroes organisation. The film starts when the superheroes get kidnapped by the alien invaders and the responsibility to save them falls on their children who also possess super powers.

Sharing the trailer of the film on her Instagram account, Chopra wrote power comes in all sizes and it arrives on Christmas Day! These amazing kids have a secret weapon – Teamwork. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on January 1, 2021 , but now the film will be released on the eve of Christmas.

The trailer begins with a voiceover of Pedro Pascal’s daughter hinting at the uncertain times the world is living in. Soon, the superheroes are attacked by alien intruders and the responsibility to save them falls on their kids. Here enters Priyanka Chopra who locks children of superheroes in a building apartment, but they escape and train themselves to save their parents and the world.
