Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been running for almost 15 years. When the show got aired for the first time people connected easily with all the characters in a few months as each of them had a unique style.

However, the comedy sitcom has witnessed many entries and exits from the show. From Dayaben’s exit to Taarak Mehta, Anjali Mehta, Tapu and Sodhi, the show doesn’t have that essence. Fans have been demanding their comeback for a long time. Now, it seems that Old Sodhi aka Gurucharan Singh is making a comeback in the show.

Fans got excited and speculated about his return after Gurucharan Singh posted his photo in his TMKOC character getup. He captioned the photo as Sachiiiiiiii yes, Details soon in the coming week… Thank you everyone! Grateful and blessed by Waheguru Ji’s grace.

Soon after, fans are already going gaga in the comment section and are guessing that he’s back with Sodhi’s character on TMKOC.

One of his fans wrote, Japppppeeeee paa Sodhi paaji (hug me, Sodhi brother). Glad to know you are coming back. Jaldi aao paaji aapke bina party sharty ka mazaa nahi aa raha tha. Aab jamke karenge sharty wali party. Aur Mehta saab ko bhi utha ke le aao.

Another fan wished that all of the old, exciting characters would return in this show in this manner. Yet another commented Ab purane daya bhabhi, Mehta saab, Anjali bhabhi aur Tapu ki comeback ho gayi to maja aa jaye.

The actor parted ways with the show in 2020. He never revealed the exact reason for leaving the serial, but he also stayed away from the other cast members when filming restarted after the Covid lockdown last year.

Dilip Joshi aka Jethala of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah opened up about leaving the iconic show. Its been 13 years since Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah (TMKOC) is on Air and is the source of entertainment for crores of people across the country. Dilip Joshi’s character Jethalal Champaklal Gada is extremely popular among fans for his iconic role.

Earlier the show faced a major setback when one of its lead characters Diah Vakani aka Dayaben quit the show owing to her pregnancy. However, the show didn’t stop, as the makers decided to go on the show and changed the actor who played Dayaben. Now, there are rumours that Dilip Joshi will also leave the show.

Well, to end the rumours, Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal in an interview with the Indian Express said that he feels if the show is doing pretty well then why unnecessarily quit the show for something else. He also said that if he is popular among the people because of the immense love he got from people. Joshi denied his quitting the show by saying if people love this show much then why would he want to ruin that for no reason.

When asked about doing a Bollywood movie, Dilip said that he still has so much to do in terms of acting and there is so much time to learn. He said movies of today are taking up some wonderful subjects, so he would never leave a chance to do a film if a good role will be offered to him.

Recently, there was also a rumour about Raj Anadkat, who plays Tapu in TMKOC, is also leaving the iconic show. Earlier this year, he made headlines for his alleged romance with senior actress and co-star Munmun Dutta.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Ghanshyam Nayak, who played the iconic character of Nattu Kaka, passed away on Sunday after his long battle against cancer. He was 76.

The unfortunate news of his death was shared by Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi. Taking it to Twitter, he tweeted, “Our beloved Nattu Kaka is no more. May God give him peace and a place at his feet. Give strength to his family to bear this loss. #NattuKaka we can’t forget you.”

Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel took to his Twitter and condoled the death of the actor.

For those who don’t know, the deceased artist had revealed his cancer diagnosis earlier in 2021. He underwent surgery after eight knots were found in his neck. As Ghanshyam Nayak passed away, let’s have a look at his life and career.

Born on May 12, 1945, Ghanshyam Nayak shot to fame with his character of Natwarlal Prabhashankar Undhaiwala in the popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

The actor had appeared in over a hundred Gujarati and Hindi films including Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya, Tere Naam, Khakee, Lajja, and others. He did more than three hundred Hindi Television daily soaps. He also starred in shows like Khichdi and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.

Apart from acting, he had also collaborated with legendary singers like Asha Bhosle and Mahendra Kapoor and gave playback in over twelve Gujarati films. He had also acted in hundred Gujarati stage plays and dubbed more than three-fifty films.

In other news, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested along with 7 others by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Sunday. The 23-year-old Khan has been booked for consuming charas. He was produced in the holiday court and was sent to custody till October 4.
