Taking the definition of “animal lover” to a whole another level, a transgender woman-who believes that she’s a dragon- has undergone unimaginable body modifications to look like a dragon.

Tiamat Eva Medusa, a trans-woman has spent millions of pounds to look like a dragon. She’s had her ears and nostrils removed-her eyes stained green- and horns implanted on her head and tattooed scales.

Medusa believes that she’s a reptile, born into a human body. Such people are known as “therians” in psychology- those who believe they are non-human animals.

According an article by Vice News, the scales in the form of tattoos that cover her body ad face are modelled after the western diamondback rattlesnake. Medusa has also spent a fortune to get a forked tongue on her way into a mythical reptilian beast.

Medusa, according to the report, stopped identifying with humans as she endured discrimination, abuse and sexual violence during her life.

Medusa was born Richard Hernandez in Arizona, US, a former banker who pivoted to become the world’s first ‘dragon’ person by undergoing a series of extreme body modifications. She claims her journey started from a dream she had about snakes.

The transwoman believes that she’s a real life “reptoid” (a half-human/half-reptilian) creature.

Recently, Medusa, shared her journey of transformation from a regular joe to today’s trans dragon lady in a series of photos spanning from 1990-2016.

Medusa was disowned by her son after she came out at as a ‘Dragon Person’.
