A video has come to the fore from Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao transport department bus where a policeman refused to buy a ticket to travel on the bus. The other passengers on the bus intervened and questioned the man for not buying the ticket as they alleged that the Policeman is trying to use his power for profit.

The policeman was identified as Inspector Jitendra Singh who is presently posted in the Unnao police department.

In the video, a man can be recording and asking the policeman if they are traveling more than the next stop they should buy a ticket. The policeman who was taken by surprise can be heard refuting and asking the man making the video who he is to intervene in the matter.

Following the man’s questioning, other people can also be heard chiming in and asking the police officer to buy the ticket. The policeman can be heard saying to the man and other people to stop resorting to thuggery and mind their business. The policeman can also be heard claiming that the place he is traveling in is in Unnao and that’s why he doesn’t need to buy a ticket.

According to reports, after the video of the incident went viral, the Unnao police came forward to state that they are probing into the matter and will investigate the same. According to reports, Rae Bareli and Unnao Police are investigating the matter.

After the video went viral, many users came forward to remark on the incident as one user came forward and wrote that these power-driven people like the inspector should be penalised for the misuse of his powerful position and added that he needs to be taught a lesson.

Another user added to the conversation and asked the police department of Uttar Pradesh to ask their police personnel to buy their ticket. The user also added that such things happen quite often, implying that it is not an isolated incident and happens very often.
