A horrifying incident just like Delhi’s Kanjhawala has come to the fore from Uttar Pradesh’s Banda. A woman riding a scooty was run over by a speeding dumper truck full of ballast and the woman stuck in the wheel got dragged along for 3 kilometers and suffered painful injuries.

The woman died on the spot and Police have arrested the accused. Besides, a case has been registered and the matter is being investigated from every aspect. However, the accused claimed that it is a accident but Uttar Pradesh Police is also investigating the case from a murder point of view.

Due to being trapped in the wheels of the truck along with the woman, her scooty also got dragged for a while. This caught fire after rubbing and in no time the truck started burning. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and with the help of fire brigade, the fire of was extinguished.

At the same time, the truck driver escaped from the spot after carrying out the accident, which has now been taken into custody by the police after several hours. Taking the dead body of the woman in custody, the police has sent it for postmortem and has registered a case and have started their investigation.

This painful accident took place on Mawai bypass of Banda city Kotwali area, where at 7:30 pm Pushpa Devi, a resident of Lucknow, who was posted as a clerk in Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University located on Mawai bypass, was out to pick up some vegetables, when a high-speed dumper coming from behind reached the bypass and trampled the scooty while overtaking. During this accident, the scooty rider got stuck in the wheel of the truck along with the scooty and got dragged for about 3.5 km.
