Television actor Vijay Kumar, who played Tetar Singh in the popular Star Bharat Serial Nimki Mukhiya, has been arrested in Patna. According to media reports, the actor has charges of dowry harassment with his first wife and having a second marriage without getting a divorce.

The reports state that an FIR was already registered against Vijay in 2020 followed by which the actor has been arrested in Patna’s Naubatpur. The investigating officer of Naubatpur has said that the actor was running away ever since a police complaint was registered against him.

The officer also informed that the accused actor along with a drama company reached in Naubatpur area of the district to perform in an event. The police then raided the place and nabbed the actor. He tried to flee from the venue but failed, reports stated.

As per reports in a Hindi news portal, Vijay’s son has opened up about his arrest and revealed that the actor has tortured his wife and planned to sell the entire inherent property. His son also said that his mother used to give tuitions and raised both her sons.
