Trying to keep up with the energy and enthusiasm of devotees is difficult specially when they get overboard. But a recent video doing rounds on social media has also shocked the nation, where police personnel can be seen being harsh and physical with the devotees of Vindhyachal Dham.

The video was shared by journalist and her caption read, “How correct is this treatment of police personnel with the devotees in the Dham of Vindhyachal?” The clip shows police pushing and throwing out devotees from the temple corridor. While some of the people protest and insist on staying long, Police can be seen getting physical with them.

The video did not angered social media users but they also expressed their frustration over the behavior of Panda from the Vindhyachal Dham. A twitter user wrote that Priests of Vindhyachal temple also misbehave with devotees and they even fight every day for money, be it a mundan or shraadh, they all collect more money than necessary.

Soon the tweet received more than 300 likes and people agreed with the Twitter user and shared their experience where the seer demanded huge amount of money for preforming rituals at the Vindhyachal Dham.

It seems like Tweeple are tired and done with such behavior from the temple priest and police assigned to maintain peace and calm. The viral video has grabbed several eyeballs and tweeple the condemning the act being done by the police. The clip has also ignited a debate in the audience of whether visiting such religious places grant us our rights or not.
