A Twitter user shared a picture from her office. It is evident from the picture and the caption that her entire office celebrated the birthday of a guard. In the picture stands the guard, who is visibly very happy and surprised by this act of kindness. The user who shared the picture said in her caption that the guard sits outside her office every day and greets everyone good morning. It was his birthday and the office decided to do a little something for him.

The positive reactions to this post were as delightful as the picture. One user called the post heartwarming. He added that sometimes the small gestures can mean the world to somebody as it takes a smile to get someone out of their shell. However, one user on Twitter pointed out the fact that the people celebrating this man’s birthday are part of the oppressive system which loots the man’s hard work by not paying him what he deserves, which is disgusting. The user further remarked that the people in the office want the guard to think that they care about him when they actually don’t.

To such negative comments, a user asked if everyone can’t just appreciate the fact that the office sponsored him a cake. He added that most companies don’t even care for people like him.
