After the Yeti Airline passenger plane crashed into a river gorge while the pilot was trying to land the plane at the newly unveiled airport in Nepal’s Pokhara on Sunday, a video emerged from inside the plane moments before the crash. It is reported that 72 death are feared including of 5 Indians.

The Nepal Army spokesperson on Monday spoke to the media and said that they have not rescued anyone alive from the site of the plane crash which is the central resort city of Pokhara. 68 deaths have been confirmed so far, however, some bodies are still missing.

The authorities have also recovered a cellphone from the site which reportedly contains the footage of the crash right before it happened. The video of facebook live has been making rounds on the internet.

In the video, a man can be seen sitting inside of the plane as he shows the view from the window of the plane. The man can also be seen in a calm and quirky state as he can be heard cracking jokes and laughing during the facebook live.

However, at a sudden change of events, the man’s facebook live takes a horrific turn as it records the people’s shriek right before the crash as the man making the facebook live can be heard in a state of shock and distress.

According to reports, the man who was doing the Facebook live was reported to be native from India’s Uttar Pradesh. The man along with 4 others were reported to be traveling to Nepal from India. All the 5 Indian passengers were reported to hail from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur in India.
The man who went live on Facebook has been identified as Sonu Jaiswal.

As per for the rescue work, the Nepal Army will continue to partake and carry out the rescue operation till tomorrow. The authorities are also on the lookout for the plane’s black box that can be the determining factor to know the reason of the crash.

After the crash was reported, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also came forward to express his condolences to the family of the bereaved.
