Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party, which took everyone by surprise when it announced the decision to go solo, fought the election with the promise of upliftment of youth and improvement of several sectors including education, healthcare, employment and law & order among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The election manifesto titled Bihar First Bihari First was released by Paswan Jr on October 21, just a few days after his father union minister Ram Vilas Paswan\u2019s death. The LJP leader said the manifesto was based on the vision of his father. Paswan, who has clearly maintained that his fight is against the Janata Dal (United) and Nitish Kumar and not the saffron party, said he believes in the development model of the Modi government and LJP and BJP will come together to form the next government in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
