According to reports, the farmers have refused to accept amendments in the farm laws and want the government to withdraw the new laws. The next round of talks will take place on December 9. Thousands of farmers have been protesting near border areas of Delhi demanding scrapping of farm laws resulting in great inconvenience for commuters as several roads have been blocked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile opposition has sharpened its attack on PM Modi. congress on Saturday asked Modi government to not test the test of patience and withdraw the black farm laws. The Congress also asked the government to apologise to farmers. Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that interest of capitalists cannot be bigger than crores of farmers in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has assured the farmers that the government does not have any intention to remove minimum support price. Addressing a press conference after meeting farmers, Tomar said the government was ready to clear all doubt of farmers. He said he has assured the farmers that the government will ponder on all the concerns raised by the farmers. The new laws would allow them to sell their produce anywhere in the country. However, the farmers and opposition parties say the new laws would leave them at the mercy of the corporates.
