Bollywood actor Arya Banerjee, who acted in film like Love Sex Aur Dhoka and The Dirty Picture, was found dead at her Kolkata home on Friday. The 33-year old’s body was found lying in the bedroom by the police who broke the door open after being called by Banerjee’s domestic help. She got suspicious as the actor was not responding to door bells and phone calls since morning. Her house help said the actress was living alone and mostly kept to herself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Banerjee was daughter of late sitarist Nikhil Bandyopadhyay and acted in a couple of critically acclaimed movies. She played the role of adult star Shakeela in The Tirty Picture. Banerjee also acted in Dibakar Banerjee\u2019s 2010 movie Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Banerjee had a Master’s degree in classical music and learnt the craft of acting from Anupam Kher’s acting school. She had also done several assignments in Mumbai before taking up acting offers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The body is been sent for forensic examination to determine the cause of her death. Forensic samples have also been collected from her room by team of experts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Actor Bidita Bag took to micro-blogging platform Twitter to pay tribute to her former roommate. Bag revealed she shared the room with the actor in her early modelling days on an outstation project. She said she was senior to her and a famous model in Kolkata at that point of time. Bag said Banerjee used to pamper her a lot during her shooting days. She said Banerjee would dance and sing like a rockstar and amazed her with her dancing and acting skills in LSD and The Dirty Picture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
