At a time when several concerns have been raised about the safety of the Covid-19 vaccine, US President-elect Joe Biden on Monday took the first of his two dosages on live television. Taking to Twitter after receiving the vaccine, the 78-year-old urged all American to take it saying there was nothing to worry about. He also thanked researchers and scientists for working tirelessly and developing the vaccine for the pandemic, which has resulted in more than one million deaths worldwide. United States is the worst-affected country in the world with 18.1 million cases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the scientists and researchers who worked tirelessly to make this possible \u2014 thank you. We owe you an awful lot.
