Reports of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt getting married by the end of this year were making rounds earlier this year. However, Ranbir Kapoor recently confirmed that they were planning to tie the knot but the coronavirus pandemic changed everything for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a recent interview, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his marriage plans with Alia Bhatt. He said they would have been married by now if the pandemic had not hit their lives. The actor also added that he does not want to jinx it by saying anything but he wants to tick mark that goal very soon in his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He praised Bhatt by saying his girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is from guitar to screenwriting. Kapoor said he feels like an underachiever next to her. Initially, they were dealing with the family crisis, and then he got into reading, spent time with his family, and watched two-three films every day, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few days ago, the reports of Alia Bhatt purchasing a new house in the same apartment as Ranbir Kapoor had made it to the headlines. Reportedly, Alia had bought a flat on the fifth floor for a whopping Rs 32 crores while Ranbir stays on the seventh floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the work front, Kapoor and Bhatt will be sharing screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in key roles.
