A civil court has rejected actor Kangana Ranaut’s plea seeking restraining order on Mumbai civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) from demolishing the unauthorized construction. The court said the Manikarnika actress has violated the sanctioned plan while merging her three flats. A court in suburban Dindoshi dismissed an application filed by Ranaut last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Judge L.S. Chavan of the Dindoshi civil court stated in his order that Ranaut, who owns three flats on the fifth floor of a 16-storey Khar building, merged them into one by covering the sunk area, duct area, common passage and converted the free FSI (floor space index) into habitable area. The court stated that these are grave violations of the sanctioned plan for which the permission of the competent authority is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranuat has claimed that she hasn’t joined any flats and that whole building is built the same way, one apartment each floor, that\u2019s how she purchased it. BMC is only harassing her in the entire building, she added. She said she will fight in higher court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
