A 46-year-old hospital worker died in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad on Sunday evening after getting a shot of the Covishield vaccine. The man, Mahipal Singh, is said to have taken the vaccine and died within 24 hours. Reports said Singh complained of chest congestion and breathlessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. M.C. Garg, the Moradabad Chief Medical Officer (CMO) confirmed the news of Singh’s death but said the Covid-19 vaccine was not the reason for Singh’s death. The CMO said, according to the post-mortem report, Singh died due to a heart attack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Garg told the media that Singh got the vaccine shot on Saturday. Garg said hospital team is working to know the reason of Singh’s death. He said the post-mortem doesn’t reflect any signs of reaction to vaccination. He did night duty on Saturday too and there were no problems, Garg said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Uttar Pradesh government, the post-mortem report reveals the immediate cause of Singh\u2019s death as cardiogenic shock\/septicemic shock due to cardio-pulmonary disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Singh’s family, he was unwell before getting the Covid-19 vaccine. After getting the jab, his condition got worse. Singh’s son Vishal told the media that his father left the vaccination centre around 1.30 pm on Saturday, he brought his father home but all of sudden Singh started feeling uneasy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
