Actor Richa Chadda’s new film Madam Chief Minister<\/em>‘s poster, now taken down, has sparked a controversy as it was accused of stereotyping Dalit community. The poster Richa Chadda’s character holding a broom with the word untouchable written on it. Reports said Chadda has received violent threats over the controvesial poster. In a tweet shared with a clipping of a news article on a politician threatening to cut of the actress’ tongue, Chadda wrote in hindi that she is not scared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, actress Swara Bhasker extended her support to the 34-year-old actress Chadda on Twitter and wrote this is absolutely shameful and to be condemned in no uncertain terms. She said people can have ideological issues and problems with a film but this is criminal intimidation and incitement to violence. Ambedkarites, Dalit feminists and just sane people- stand up and call this out, she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
