Violence broke out at the Singhu border after a group of people claiming to be locals while other reports says they are the people of Hindu Sena, reached there to vacate the protest area, leading to a clash between the protesting farmers and the people of Hindu outfit. The Hindu Sena people threw stones and vandalised tents of protesting farmer who have been camping at Singhu border from the last two months against the Centre\u2019s three farm laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The violence prompted the police to resort to lathi-charge and use tear gas shells to disperse the protestors. Following clashes, several police personnel, including Delhi Police SHO Pradeep Paliwal and protesters have been injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A team of Forensic Science Laboratory reached Ghazipur border just after the clashes find 394 security personnel injured and one agitator dead. The search is underway to collect the forensic evidences from the Ghazipur border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In view of the ongoing farmers’ unrest, the Haryana government has extended the mobile internet ban to 14 to 22 districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In solidarity with the protesting farmers, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi held a press conference and said the farmers\u2019 protests will spread to big cities if the government acts rigid and does not repeal the three farm laws. Addressing the press conference, he said the government should know that these protests will not stop here. This agitation will spread from here to the big cities because it is not only the farmers who have been robbed of their livelihood. It is going to create instability which is not good for the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the emotional call of the BKU leader Rakesh Tikait, a massive crowd gathered for farmers’ Mahapanchayat on Friday in Uttar Pradesh\u2019s Muzaffarnagar which is less than 150 km from the Ghazipur border where Tikait’s brother Rakesh is leading a protest against farm laws.
