The Rohit Shetty directorial <em>Sooryavanshi<\/em> is all set to release on April 2, 2021, reports said. As per a report published in&nbsp;Bollywood Hungama, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer film may hit the silver screen on April 2, on a Good Friday. The official announcement is yet to be made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports said Rohit Shetty and co-producer Reliance Entertainment are in talks with the theatre owners and an official release announcement will be made soon. The makers want to solve all the issues cropping up like payment of VPF (virtual print fee), revenue sharing, shortening of the window between OTT and theatrical release, etc. with the exhibitors. It is a part of the cop universe, comprising Singham (played by Ajay Devgn) and Simmba (portrayed by Ranveer Singh), both directed by Rohit Shetty. Devgn and Singh also have special appearances in the film.
