Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli expressed his views on the ongoing farmers’ protest on Thursday. He said the issue of farmers’ protest against the Centre’s three newly-enacted agriculture laws has come up for discussion in his team meeting where everyone has expressed their views. Ahead of the first test match with England in Chennai, Kohli was speaking to the media online but did not share the details of the conversation about the issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any ongoing issue in the country is discussed in the team and everyone has expressed what they had to say about the farmers’ protest. The team briefly spoke about it in the team meeting and then the players carried on discussing the team’s plans, Kohli said when asked about the farmers’ agitation that has been going on for over two months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
