Six people were reportedly killed and eight injured in Katiar cold storage facility in the Shivrajpur area of Kanpur after an ammonia leak triggered an explosion there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Kashyap, who was visiting his sister\u2019s in-laws in the city for Holi, reacted instantly. He went straight underneath the collapsed roof to save the lives of trapped workers. Kashyap is a resident of Chaubepur, some 45 km from Kanpur, and is currently posted at a military hospital in Mau in Uttar Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The leaked ammonia did not deter Kashyap. He went straight through the gaps along the collapsed roof. Even police and fire brigade personnel were nervous but Kashyap was determined to save as many lives as he could.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to reports, the cold storage was crowded when the tragedy occurred. Many farmers were there to stock potato harvest.
