Well, the antagonist of the film had not been finalised initially, but now the film&#8217;s producers have made up their mind to cast Hashmi as the villian. The film is being helmed by Maneesh Sharma and produced under the banner of <em>Yash Raj Films<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A sequel titled Tiger 3 was announced on 3 April 2020 which will see Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Times of India reported that <em>Tiger 3 <\/em>could just be the first film where Emraan Hashmi will be sharing screen space with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Even though there\u2019s no confirmation from either the makers or the actors, reports suggested that <em>Yash Raj Films<\/em> felt Emraan fits the role as a villain. He is a fine, intense actor and that quality won him the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tiger 3<\/em> is a part of an Indian media franchise, consisting of two Bollywood films and a graphic novel series. The 2012 film, named <em>Ek Tha Tiger<\/em> was directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Yash Raj Films. Its sequel named <em>Tiger Zinda Hai<\/em>, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar released on 22 December 2017. While Gavie Chahal played the villain in the first Tiger movie, Iranian actor Sajjad Delafrooz was seen as the antagonist in the second one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emran Hashmi has already impressed the audience with his work in <em>Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Jannat, Tum Mile, and The Dirty Picture<\/em>&nbsp;among others.
