The counting is underway amid heavy security and strict Covid-19 protocols. Overall, the BJP is leading on 60 seats while the Congress is ahead in 12 while the Congress and BSP have managed to win three-three seats. Arvind Kejriwal\u2019s Aam Aadmi Party which is contesting the polls for the first time has hindered Congress\u2019 growth in Rajkot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Today\u2019s win across Gujarat is very special. As per the final figures shared by the SEC on Sunday, Ahmedabad had the lowest turnout of 42.5 per cent, while Jamnagar recorded the highest turnout of 53.4 per cent. While the BJP has an upper hand in elections to urban local bodies, this time, several senior and multiple-term corporators were denied tickets, leading to disquiet in the party.
