Emphasising the impact of a hike in fuel price over the manufacturing and transportation of goods, he urged for coordinated action to curb prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier on Monday, the RBI governor during the minutes for Monetary Policy Committee meeting said that calibrated unwinding of taxes is necessary to reduce price pressures in the economy. On Thursday, petrol price in Delhi stood at Rs 90.58 per litre. In India, the fuel prices witnessed a steep climb over the past week, with petrol price breaching the Rs 100 mark and diesel costing around Rs 90 in many cities.
