Delhi police has registered an FIR against accused after the video of the incident went viral on social media platforms. The accused identied as Ranbir Singh who has been detained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the CCTV footage it can be seen the woman Avtar Kaur was being slapped by her son on the face, after which she lost her senses and fell on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/mahendermanral\/status\/1371834282528890880?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1371834282528890880%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Findianexpress.com%2Farticle%2Fcities%2Fdelhi%2Fdelhi-76-year-old-slapped-by-son-dies-7232123%2F\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead by the doctors, senior police officer said. The accused did not informed the police and did last rites of Avtar Kaur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dawarka DCP, Santosh Meena said an FIR has been registered under IPC sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 201 (destroying evidences) at Bindapur police station. Meena said further investigation is underway and strict action will be taken against accused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the police, there was an argument between Kaur and one of her neighbour over parking vehicles, due to which angry Ranbir Singh confronted her mother and started blaming her for picking up a fight with the neighbour.
