Uttar Pradesh said, if permission is granted, people have to follow all the Covid-19 protocols such as social distancing, using sanitisers and &nbsp;wear face masks. The state government further said those people who are above 60 years or younger than 10, and people with co-morbidities will not be allowed to participate in events or large gatherings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amid a spike in coronavirus infections in many states of the country, the Central Government on Wednesday had asked the states and union territories to pay extra attention to restrictions in public areas so that people can not be gathered at places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India became the second-worst country hit by the coronavirus infection after the United States, India has reported 68,020 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24-hours, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country now stands at 1,20,39,644.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The country has witnessed 32,231 recoveries from coronavirus in the last 24-hours, taking the recovery tally to 1,13,55,993.
