Former Army veteran and actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passed away due to Covid-19 complications. The 52-year-old took his last breath at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kanwarpal was popular for portraying supporting roles in various television shows, Bollywood movies, and web shows. He was seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2005 hit film ‘Page 3’, Paap, Karam, Corporate, Thanks Maa, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? Aarakshan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Joker, Horror Story, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo among others. He had also worked in the 2020 Telugu film Madha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beside movies, Kanwarpal worked in several TV shows including Anil Kapoor’s 24, Kismat, Namak Haraam, Adaalat, Neeli Chhatri Waale, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Dil Hi Toh Hai, Tenali Rama (TV series).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The retired army officer was last seen in Disney+Hotstar\u2019s web series Special Ops. Last year, he had shared a video on YouTube, urging everyone to stay home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several celebrities from Bollywood and the television industry mourned the loss of a great actor and soul. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit wrote,  Sad to hear about the demise of actor Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal this morning due to #Covid. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal had played supporting roles in many films and television serials. Heartfelt condolences to his family & near ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expressing shock over Kanwarpal’s demise, Manoj Bajpayee wrote, Oh my god!!! What a sad news !!! We knew each other for 14 yrs since the making of 1971 ! REST IN PEACE MAJOR !!! So Shocking (sic)!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
