He said lockdown played a very important role in improving Delhi\u2019s Covid situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delhi CM said, the Delhi\u2019s situation getting better with each day passing, the recovery rate is going up and the positivity rate is going down. I do not want to lose the gains that we have achieved in the last few days by removing lockdown, Delhi CM said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is exempted?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kejriwal said the restrictions in this week\u2019s lockdown will remain the same as last lockdown. He said movement of people and economic activities are prohibited during the lockdown. People are exempted who are engaged in essential services and the supply chain of essential goods, Media workers are exempted, medical staff and go out by showing their valid ID Cards, Delhi Metro services will continue to remain shut, Delhi CM said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The health ministry on Saturday said, &nbsp;Delhi has witnessed 6,430 fresh Covid-19 cases and 337 more fatalities, while the positivity rate dipped to 11.32 percent. The city had recorded 8,506 new cases on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amid a massive spike in coronavirus cases, several states like &nbsp;Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Assam have decided to extend the lockdown to break the chain of coronavirus in the states.
