A local media accessed his photos on Saturday shortly after a court in the Caribbean island nation extended its order of restraining his deportation till Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday, the court will hear a habeas corpus plea &#8211; which determines whether a detention is lawful &#8211; filed by Choksi, who has been charged with entering the country illegally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In exclusive photos, Choksi is seen behind the bars and in one of the pictures. However, other photographs show injury marks and bruises on his hand and wrist. Choksi&#8217;s lawyers have alleged that he was abducted from Antigua and Barbuda and forcibly taken to Dominica. He was badly beaten up in the police custody and has suffered bruises, his lawyers said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/ANI\/status\/1398706341003218944\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, his repatriation process was stayed by a Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, superior court for eastern Caribbean states including Commonwealth of Dominica, as his lawyers had on Thursday contested that the wanted businessman cannot be sent to India as he is no longer a citizen of the country.
