The Delhi Police on Thursday has increased their security on all the borders connecting the neighboring states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana after receiving information through intelligence which said, around 50,000 farmers are planning to enter Delhi to protest against new farm laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the farmer organisations said they have no such plans to enter the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhi police senior officer said, when they received information about farmers planning to enter Delhi, their team has increased police deployment at all the border points, including the protest sites of the Tikri, Singhu,  and Ghazipur border. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officer said, their staff is assessing the situation at all the protesting sites and paying more attention to it in the wake of the call. All internal and outside forces have been mobilised to the maximum, an officer said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior district DCPs assessed all the protesting sites found the situation there remains peaceful, but the top officers at protesting sites have been asked to make heavy security deployment with multi-layered barricades as a precautionary measure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait on Wednesday met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and disccused about the new farm laws. West Bengal CM has extended her support country’s farmers who are against three farm laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
