More than 350 villages in Uttar Pradesh are affected by heavy rains that resulted in flood in many areas. Hamirpur and Jalun districts in Bundelkhand region are the worst affected. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will conduct an aerial survey of flood affected areas of Auraiya and Etawah today. He will also review relief and rescue operations with concerned officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bundelkhand region, which usually reports below normal to normal rain, is the worst affected with Yamuna river flowing above the danger mark in at least five places. Rivers Ganga and Yamuna are flowing at 85.08m and 84.90m at Phaphamau. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Low-lying areas in Varanasi have been inundated due to rising water-level in river Ganga. Teams of NDRF and local administration are carrying out rescue operations in the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Gonda district of eastern UP,  a primary school got washed away following a rise in the water level of Ghaghara river on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
